Wow. That was the first word that came to mind the moment Rachel left my studio. And not just because she has a pretty rocking name if I do say so myself. It’s because I knew what images I had on my memory card from the session and I was blown away at how amazing Rachel was during the session.
Portrait photography is something new that I have gotten into and something that I am loving more and more every day. One challenge I find with adult portraits is that unlike babies and children, adults are typically alot more reserved and self conscious. Especially when they know their images aren’t just for them or for a memory box or photo album. When there is that added element that they may be used for business and self promotion, or that they are going to be gifted to a special somebody, it makes us as adults – for the most part – become self conscious and critical of ourselves.
In short… We overthink.
Rachel came into my studio and the first thing she said after hello was “I have never had my photo professionally taken. I’ll probably be horrible at this. But hopefully you get something good from them.”.
Boy… Did I ever. She was a bombshell in the best possible way. She owned every frame. She exuded confidence and humour. She was happiness and sass. She was sexy and sweet. She was everything that I dream of in a client. And that I know is inside everyone. She was just brave enough to let it all out.
She did a little mix of business and Glamour images. Take a peek at “Ravishing Rachel’s” session below!
I hope you loved looking at her images as much as I loved taking them. If you are in need of a session of your own, I would love to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your custom session.
Stay healthy and happy! All the best,
